Sun Valley

Sun Valley Resort is a world-class destination for skiing and snowboarding. Many winter Olympians call these mountains home during their training. The focal point of Sun Valley is Bald Mountain, or “Baldy” as the locals affectionately call it. This towering peak has a vertical descent of over 3,400 feet and is home to all the advanced trails and expert bowls. Many skiers consider Baldy to be “the single best ski mountain in the world.” The separate Dollar Mountain provides a safe and unhurried place for new skiers and snowboarders to learn the basics and go it at their own pace. Dollar Mountain also has Sun Valley’s expert terrain park, half pipe, and tube hill. Of course, Sun Valley is a year-round resort, and summertime visitors will love the numerous trails for hiking and downhill biking, the many golfing options, and all the events and concerts.

Sun Valley Resort offers every amenity you’d expect from a premier vacation retreat. There are numerous shops and restaurants on site, and guests will have a variety of services to choose from such as an excellent ski school, equipment rentals, family activities and events, as well as a full concierge service.

Sun Valley Resort features include:

  • Transportation between Baldy and Dollar Mountains
  • Full terrain park and half pipe
  • Tubing hill
  • Ski School for all abilities
  • 21 chairlifts
