Travel down historic Main Street in Ketchum and you find everything from fine-dining to casual cafés, boisterous pubs to relaxed eateries. Sun Valley Resort Dining and Lodges

The Roundhouse

Perched atop Bald Mountain at 7,700 feet, the historic Roundhouse is now open for both summer and winter dining. The diverse menu ranges from grilled shrimp salads, Vidalia onion and asparagus quiche, fresh crab, to char-grilled beef and lamb burgers. Visitors can come by foot or on skis. Open 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

River Run Day Lodge

The River Run Day Lodge overlooks the Big Wood River at the base of Bald Mountain. Open to skiers and non-skiers, the restaurant has wood-fired pizza, grilled entrées, deli items, a lavish salad bar, and the ever popular wok station. Open daily during the winter season from 8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Warm Springs Lodge

Guests to Warm Springs Lodge have come to expect the best from the expert chefs and genial staff. The gourmet menu includes items such as fresh pasta, salads, pizzas, grilled specialties, and the great Idaho Potato Bar. Open daily during the winter season from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Seattle Ridge Lodge

Ranked by Skiing Magazine as one of their top ten ski lodges, Seattle Ridge sits high above the landscape atop Mount Baldy. Skilled chefs expertly craft meals such as rotisserie meats, grilled entrées, pizzas, soups, and gourmet salads. Open during the winter season from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Lookout Restaurant

Perched atop Mount Baldy, Lookout provides guests with dramatic views of the Sun Valley area. Ski in for cafeteria-style fare, delicious hot chocolate, and simple snacks. Lookout Restaurant serves as a great place to “bring your own picnic.” Open during the winter season from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Carol’s Dollar Mountain Lodge

This kid-friendly restaurant is the newest mountain dining establishment. Located across from the Sun Valley Children’s Center, Carol’s offers a wide array of pastas, pizzas, and chicken dishes, but the menu goes far beyond children’s fare. Open during the winter season from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Ram

Offering seasonal menu items crafted by their expert staff, The Ram creates unique American and European cuisine ranging from Idaho lamb, escargot, Gruyere cheese fondue, and stuffed pheasant. The Ram has been cozy dining establishment in Sun Valley since 1937. Dinner is served from 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Trail Creek Cabin

Take a romantic sleigh ride or cross-country ski, snowshoe, or drive to reach this intimate hideaway in Sun Valley. Menu items feature a mélange of western flavors from Idaho trout, locally raised beef, baby back ribs, and meatloaf and are all complimented by a diverse wine list and full bar.

Konditorei Coffee

Pick up delectable pastries, iced coffee, espresso, and ice cream at Konditorei Coffee. After a day on the slopes, relax in this cozy space that features free Wi-Fi, a newspaper stand, three TVs, and serves Starbucks coffee, Tazo Tea, Chai, and freshly made smoothies. Open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Gretchen’s

Named for Sun Valley’s own Gretchen Fraser, this comfortable family restaurant serves specialty salads, exquisite sandwiches, hamburgers, breakfast fare, and delicious evening entrées that include salmon, beef, and lamb. Open for breakfast and dinner from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Lodge Dining Room

The hallmark of The Lodge Dining Room is its Sunday brunch, which many consider to be the finest in the area. This lavish display features breakfast specialties from omelets and crepes to seafood, salads, and an array of desserts. This venue can also be reserved for private parties and other functions. Open each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chocolate Foundry

This charming old-fashioned candy shop creates luscious confections that will delight the young and old alike. Choose from homemade truffles, fudge, jelly beans, licorice, and exotic chocolates from all around the world. Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Bald Mountain Pizza

This family-friendly pizza shop creates hand-tossed pies, pasta bowls, and delicious salads. The fare is very casual and fun for children. There is a full take-out menu or have a pizza delivered to any Sun Valley Resort property. Open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., closed Tuesdays.
